Friday 25 July, 2008, Blb Day + 18

Fishing!   The weather was right so off we went in Justin's boat.  I discovered I had left my camera at home so I had to rip off these photos from Lightblb.  Capt Justin there with me behind; Craig looking stern (well actually towards the bow but he looks serious); yours truly wondering what the fishing Gods will deliver to us this day.

We headed out into the archipelago passing a resident Osprey on the way.

We had to catch some bait fish and this is where the blb came to the fore and showed her style.

Then it was time for the boys to catch some more bait fish.  The blb could not be persuaded to touch a rod at this stage.  Craig pulls one or two fish aboard.

Then it is time for yours truly's star to shine.

We stopped off at an island because lightblb was not feeling the best but after a short nap on the beach and a spot of lunch she was right as rain and we headed off again cruising down the edge of the island.

We came across a pair of Sooty Oystercatchers and then another Osprey nest.  There were the ubiquitous terns in evidence and a couple of Pied Cormorants.

It was then time to turn for home and a couple of cold beers.
