Easter 2007 by 2Cv
Saturday 7th April 2007, dawned and we arose (well in my case considerably after dawn).
After breakfast it was time to hit the dusty road again.

flat.
However, there are a few trees around the place and even some worn but serviceable bitumen on the roads.
We turned South and Ralph led us along a

wandered off and hit the road again.

Not far down the track was the town of Corrigin where it was time to water the horses.
Corrigin, as any local knows, is in the heart of the Western Australian wheat belt. In Australian historical terms it is a place of tradition and history. Of course in a European historical scale the town has only existed in the last blink of an eye. Nevertheless, Corrigin proudly sports a museum which displays, among other things, the development of mechanised farming equipment. The museum is well worth a visit.
The museum also included other memorabilia including newspapers.
Outside there was a helicopter for the amusement of the kids.
There
was also a handy shelter for lunch and a brew
